Lisa Tan is proud to have taken part in the Royal Ascot #StyledWithThanks millinery auction, which raised funds for frontline charities during the COVID-19 crisis.
Lisa was one of 44 British milliners tasked with creating a hat celebrating 'rainbows', which were used to thank the NHS and frontline workers during the pandemic. This hat was auctioned during Royal Ascot week (June 16-20, 2020) with all proceeds donated to The National Emergencies Trust Relief Fund, NHS Charities Together, The Care Workers Charity and the Berkshire Community Foundation.
Delicate and alluring, this one-of-a-kind bespoke headpiece features 32 hand-sculpted petals made from fine sinamay in rainbow hues, which bloom from a central heart-shaped base. Made entirely by hand over approximately 50 hours, “Blossom” is a dedication to the tireless efforts of those who risk all for us on the frontline.
